I’m originally from New Zealand and currently based in Austria. I have strong, lifelong experience with animals, having grown up on a farm where I was around a wide range of animals and responsibilities from an early age. While growing up, I had up to four dogs at one time, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels.

At the moment, I also have two cats with my partner, so I’m familiar with day-to-day pet care including feeding, grooming, cleaning, and understanding animal behaviour and routines. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

I’m reliable, patient, and attentive, and I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, whether that includes walks, feeding, playtime, or general companionship. I’m currently flexible with my schedule and open to both regular and occasional pet care work.

Before caring for a pet, I like to make sure I understand all the important details to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. This includes their basic information such as age, breed, temperament, energy level, and how they behave around new people, other animals, or during walks. I also ask about their feeding routine, portion sizes, and any allergies or dietary needs, as well as their exercise requirements and walking habits if it’s a dog. It’s important to know their toilet routine, house rules (such as whether they are allowed on furniture or have specific areas they should avoid), and any behaviours like anxiety, reactivity, or escape risks. I also make sure I’m aware of any medical conditions, medications, and vet details in case of emergencies, along with clear contact information for the owner or a backup person
